This is Manling , a costume designer and costume maker exploring where materials, craft, and storytelling meet on the body.

I work across theatre and have experience in couture studio, moving between design and construction with a focus on innovative materials and experimental techniques. I’m curious about how the physical world shapes people, culture, and clothing — and how costumes can become quiet reflections of those connections.

 

My practice balances tradition and reinvention, always looking for new textures, new processes, and new ways to support performance and character.
