“Luo Shen” is inspired by a Chinese myth in which the protagonist falls in love with his brother’s wife. After her death, he idealizes her as a goddess and imagines the two of them united in another world. Conceptually, the work is grounded in Han-dynasty aesthetics and its cultural reflections on life, death, and the soul. The costume is divided into two layers—illusion and reality—echoing the tension between earthly longing and imagined transcendence. The making process incorporates UV resin, fiber optics, silicone, bamboo, and translucent leather.
